We strive to make your first visit to our office a comfortable experience. Our receptionist will welcome you and ask you to complete our required forms. These forms will give us important information about you and your condition. The doctor will then spend time asking specific questions about your condition to determine if chiropractic care is right for you. If so your treatment options will be discussed. If chiropractic care is not the answer we can help refer you to another physician. As always, nothing will be done without your consent.
After discussing your condition the doctor will give you a thorough chiropractic examination. This will include a physical exam, neurological exam, orthopedic exam, and chiropractic exam. This important information will allow the doctor to obtain a better understanding of your condition and how chiropractic can help you. If medically necessary or appropriate the doctor may refer you for x-rays or further testing such as MRI, CT, ultrasound, NCV/EMG.
Your spine will then be analyzed with the ProAdjuster instrument to detect areas of fixation, hypomobility, tight muscles, inflammation, and abnormal motion. These results are shown on a computer graph for you to view and discuss with your physician.
After all the information from the exams, forms, ProAdjuster analysis, and x-rays (if needed) are complete, the doctor will give you a comprehensive report of his findings and explain your diagnosis and the treatment that is right for you.
Most patients will get some relief from the very first treatment! Chiropractic adjustments are gentle enough for children yet will restore movement and function for the athlete and senior.
